![]() ![]() The highlight was a nest of what I think were herons feeding their babies.Īfter this we headed off inland up the canal which was the highlight for us. Caleb was very knowledgeable about the different birds and knew some good spots for viewing. The first part of the trip was around a nearby island that was teeming with birds of all shapes and sizes. ![]() But our guide Caleb was happy to wait a few minutes until it slackened off a bit, and then we set off. Our trip didn't get off to the most auspicious start as it was pouring with rain. We took the 10AM trip from Haulover Canal in Titusville. The experience was amazing and the perfect way to spend a day with my daughter! Too notch! Book with confidence and be prepared for anything nature can surprise us with! Our guides, Alex and Sutton found some large jellies and showed the group how to activate the bioluminescent creatures with “hand tricks” and small nets. The finale was the bioluminescent Dinoflagellates and moon jellies after dark. The wildlife was abundant and we saw manatees, dolphins, countless species of birds, raccoons, and tons of natural plant life. The tour guides were professional and safety minded with back up personnel ready to assist so everyone could get back on track and enjoy the tour. Our tour guide Alex was skilled, knowledgeable and very ENTERTAINING! He was great and he kept the tour interesting from start to finish! Sutton was our other guide who kept the group together from the back and jumped into action to help one of the patrons who was struggling to keep up and keep their kayak on the top side of the water. ![]() The tour was first rate and better than expected. I booked this tour for my daughter and I as a special Daddy/Daughter day. ![]()
